Teacher Creativity Center in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Save the Children, implemented a training workshop through zoom technique . It targeted 20 teachers in 20 government schools in the northern governorates of Palestine, located in areas (c) and (h2) in Hebron. The training aimed to review the concepts of integrity, transparency and accountability, and introduce the trainees to anti-corruption tools, in addition to introducing them to community participation strategies and enabling them to work in community initiatives. The training also indicated the policies related to child protection and building the complaints mechanism.The sessions aimed to raise awareness and empower teachers in the subjects related to building child protection policy to create a safe and inclusive environment in the targeted schools of the project in order to build a system that helps reduce child abuse And enabling service providers to build healthy and effective relationships with children and others.
The last session concluded a review of the projects submitted by the integrity clubs and discussion of mechanisms and procedures related to the methodology of community initiatives and reports on the outputs of initiatives, to ensure the completion of work and cooperation of teachers with students in implementing community initiatives that were disrupted for some time due to the circumstances of the emergency due to the Coruna virus epidemic.
The training that was organized during the period between 27 and 30 of June, with the participation of teachers of the targeted schools, as well as supervisors of the directorates of education and representatives of Save the Children Foundation.
