The Teacher Creativity Center completed two 2 day workshops for 60 school principals from different directorates of the West Bank as part of a two year project titled (Civic Education in Palestinian Schools: Promoting Active Responsible Youth Citizenship and funded by the Foundation For the Future, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and implemented by the Teacher Creativity   

The two day workshops were scheduled and implemented November 23-24 and 26-27 with 30 male and female civic education teachers of the seventh, eighth and ninth grades in each workshop

The principals were introduced to the key concepts of civic education including concepts of citizenship, good governance, rule of law, human rights and Project Citizen including action learning methodology

The objective of the principals training is to make aware principals of the project details to ensure adequate support by principals for trained teachers as they train and guide students in action learning based projects in their communities or schools
