Our story

An old table and some modest chairs around it in a small room on the fourth floor of a building in Ramallah city ...... A group of teachers in 1993 tried to find solutions for their educational problems and their problems with the students curriculum and with the values in the school. With some shekels in their pockets  "not even sufficient to purchase basic necessities"  they rented a small room perhaps one day it will become a place where their fellow teachers can meet talk and share thoughts about how they want school to be.
They didnot have any previous experience about running non-governmental institutions. Everything they owned was a clear message concerning improving the learning environment that respects human rights and safeguard the dignity an environment that promotes creativity and respects diversity and bring justice and equality they had no idea at that time that the small room which gathered them at the beginning of the road will be transformed in 2011 into an effective institution at the local regional and International level an institution which has served and trained tens of thousands of teachers managers and supervisors and parents … an institution which has been able to entrench in the minds many important concepts of human rights and civic education at the educational system. An institution that work in all areas of the Palestinian from Rafah to Jenin and biased in absolute terms the issues of peoples rights needs and aspirations of the social political and was able to extend beyond the borders of the nation to reach most of the Arab countries to establish an Arab network for human rights education citizenship and heads the Arab campaign of education.
