Launch of the Second Phase of the Recovery through Education Project in Khan Younis

Khan Younis – Gaza | Teacher Creativity Center (TCC), in partnership with War Child funded by the oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF), has launched the second phase of the project “Enhancing Education and Psychosocial Support in Gaza: Recovery through Education.” The initiative aims to support both the educational process and the mental health of children affected by the war in the Gaza Strip.

Activities will be implemented in the temporary learning spaces managed by TCC at the Hamad Learning Hub and the Al-Mustafa Learning Hub in Khan Younis Governorate. Over a period of 28 days, the second phase will reach 300 displaced children in Khan Younis, focusing on strengthening foundational skills in Arabic, Mathematics, and English, alongside psychosocial support activities grounded in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).

This phase comes as part of TCC’s vision to provide quality education and holistic psychosocial support for children in Gaza, fostering their resilience and safeguarding their right to education and a life of dignity.
